Duties
- Field and shop disassembly, inspection, rebuilding, and diagnostic of various types of pumps, motors, and related component equipment as needed.
- Specify the necessary parts and labor needed to complete the repair or service, and provide a written report of findings from troubleshooting.
- Assembly/fabrication, minor plumbing, and testing of components.
- Testing of components, troubleshooting, removal, installation, and repairs on various customer equipment.
- Back-up in the shipping and receiving department.
Requirements
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Willingness to learn (training provided)
- Basic Computer Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferences
- Valid forklift certification
- Welding experience (plus but not required)
- Pump Repair Experience (Centrifugal, Vertical Turbine, Multi-Stage, etc.) (plus but not required)
- Pump Mfg. Training (Flowserve, Finish Thompson, Grundfos, etc.) (plus but not required)

This is a first shift position in a clean and well-lit repair facility in New Hudson, MI.
