Pulmonology - General/Sleep Physician

Bassett Healthcare Network, in Central New York, is seeking a BC/BE physician to join its existing group of Pulmonologists/Sleep Physicians in Cooperstown, NY.

About the role

Join an established team of 5 Pulmonologists, 5 Intensivists, 3 Sleep physicians, 4 Advance Practice Clinicians, 4 dedicated outpatient Respiratory Therapists, and 1 Nurse Specialist. Clinical time will be split between pulmonary and sleep medicine.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient pulmonary consultations
• Outpatient clinic
• Pulmonary procedures and interpretation of sleep studies
• Resident and Medical Student supervision and teaching
• Weekly multidisciplinary clinic-radiologic conference
• Bronchoscopy with EBUS, Point of care Ultrasound
• AASM certified Sleep Center collaboration
• Collaboration with ENT for hypoglossal nerve stimulator therapy
• Collaboration with Interventional radiology and Thoracic surgery for procedures
• Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region

Requirements

• MD, DO, or MBBS
• BC/BE in Pulmonology
• Completion of an accredited USA Pulmonology residency program
• NYS Licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• BLS Certification
• DEA Required

Pay

Salary Range: $328,067 – $410,000. This range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of posting, based on qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation. Bassett offers an incentive plan with no earnings cap; individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.

Sign-on Bonus: up to $100,000.

Supportive transition bonus of $10,000.
