St. Michael’s Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Pulmonologist to join a busy and growing pulmonary medicine practice in Newark, New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking to join an established practice with a strong patient volume and collaborative clinical environment.

Location
Newark, New Jersey. St. Michael’s Medical Center is located in the heart of Newark, providing convenient access to New York City and the surrounding New Jersey communities.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient pulmonary consultations and follow-up care
- Diagnosis and management of respiratory diseases
- Evaluation of chronic and acute pulmonary conditions
- Interpretation of pulmonary diagnostic testing
- Collaboration with primary care physicians, hospitalists, and other specialists
- Providing high-quality, evidence-based patient care
- Participation in the medical staff and department activities as appropriate
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an accredited Pulmonary Medicine or Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine fellowship
- Board eligible or board certified in Pulmonary Disease
- New Jersey medical license or eligibility
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a busy practice environment

Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $320,000–350,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of hire, considering factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
