Pulmonologist - Long Island
About the role
The ideal candidate is a licensed, board-eligible or board-certified pulmonologist who is also trained in sleep medicine. We value strong diagnostic, assessment, and treatment skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Become part of a large team of experts in the field, and a key provider within a nationally recognized, top-quality, patient-centered network.
- Provide expert care in pulmonology and sleep medicine at outpatient ambulatory facilities and hospital campuses.
- Build and maintain relationships with patients and colleagues to promote access to world-class care and research at NYU Langone Health.
Requirements
- Licensed, board-eligible or board-certified pulmonologist with training in sleep medicine.
- Strong diagnostic, assessment, and treatment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in internal medicine.
- Completion of an accredited fellowship program in pulmonary medicine and/or sleep medicine.

- Expertise in pulmonology and sleep medicine.
- Strong diagnostic, assessment, and treatment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Benefits
Compensation: $300,000-$325,000. The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors.
Pay
$300,000-$325,000 for full-time employment.
