Summary The Respiratory Therapist - Pulmonary Rehabilitation - is responsible for facilitating the training of patients with pulmonary disease inan outpatient setting. Responsibilities of the program include instructing patients with how to live with chronic disease providing education and exercise. Responsibilities Provides pulmonary rehab program education and exercise classes either group or 1:1 two times per week for 6 weeksOversees the alumni maintenance exercise program offered 3 times per weekProvides airway clearance 1:1 sessions per physician orderPerforms 6 Minute Walk TestsFulfills all compliance and database responsibilities related to this positionPerforms other duties as assigned by Department leadership Education Skills Experience Minimum of Associates Degree in Respiratory CareMinimum of 3 years job related experienceRegistered Respiratory TherapistState of Ct License as Respiratory Care PractitionerBLS for health care providersMicrosoft office skills - Word, Excel and Powerpoint Other Information Pulmonary rehabilitation experience preferred.
