Responsibilities

• Lead and expand an independent, innovative research program.
• Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams to advance research initiatives.
• Contribute to scholarly activities, including publications and presentations.
• Mentor junior investigators and support their academic growth.
• Engage in translational and clinical research in pulmonary diseases, asthma, critical care, and genetics.
• Conduct and lead cutting-edge research within a large research network.
• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
• Secure external funding to sustain and grow the research program.
• Contribute to the academic growth and mission of the division through collaboration and leadership.

Requirements

• MD or PhD degree.
• Established independent research program with active R01 or equivalent funding.
• Proven scholarly productivity through peer-reviewed publications.

• Strong track record in scholarly contributions and academic leadership.
• Experience collaborating within large research networks.
