About the role

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking physicians board certified (or board eligible) in pulmonary & critical care medicine. We also have opportunities for candidates board certified (or board eligible) in pulmonary, critical care & sleep.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term treatment programs and respond to medical needs in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in ongoing research to improve therapies.
• Provide immediate treatment to critically ill patients 24/7 in the hospital.
• Offer state-of-the-art bronchoscopy procedures and therapeutic/diagnostic procedures.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat all types of sleep disorders.
• Support patients with severe emphysema through innovative treatments.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Provide ongoing equipment and supply needs for CPAP devices.

Requirements

• MD or DO Medical Degree
• Must be board certified (or board eligible) in pulmonary & critical care or board certified (or board eligible) in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in the State of Georgia
