The Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep Division at Piedmont Healthcare is seeking board certified (or board eligible) physicians in pulmonary & critical care medicine, as well as those specializing in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep.

About the Role

Piedmont Healthcare's Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine is dedicated to advancing the prevention and treatment of diseases through integrated patient care, education, research, and professional development. The team works collaboratively to tailor treatment plans and improve therapies through ongoing research.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term treatment programs for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate and treat patients with complex lung conditions.
• Provide comprehensive care for patients with advanced lung diseases, including specialized evaluations and treatments.
• Offer state-of-the-art interventions such as endobronchial lung volume reduction valves for severe emphysema.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat various sleep disorders using high-quality hospital-based sleep labs and home sleep testing options.
• Support patients with CPAP devices through onsite DME educators and an in-house CPAP distribution center.
• Participate in physician-led governance, ensuring quality, service, and reputation standards are met.

Requirements

• MD or DO Medical Degree
• Board certified (or board eligible) in pulmonary & critical care or board certified (or board eligible) in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in the State of Georgia.
• Residency and Fellowship trained.
