Pulmonary Critical Care Physician
About the Role
We are seeking board-certified Physicians in Pulmonary and/or Critical Care to join a rapidly expanding Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep practice in St. Petersburg, Florida. Our market share has increased annually by 10-25% over the last three years, and we recently secured a critical care contract at a rapidly growing hospital.
Patient cases include a wide range of complexity: COPD, ILD, lung cancer, obstructive sleep apnea management, COPD exacerbations, pneumonia, ARDS, Impellas, and occasional ECMO. Procedures include diagnostic bronchoscopies, EBUS, navigational bronchoscopies, Zoll catheters, central lines, and emergent intubations.
Support includes APRNs/PAs, GME with Internal Medicine residents, and AI technology. Flexible work arrangements are available, ranging from 10 to 21 days per month, tailored to the candidate’s priorities such as family, financial success, and work-life balance.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse patient mix, including COPD, ILD, lung cancer, and obstructive sleep apnea
- Perform procedures such as diagnostic bronchoscopies, EBUS, navigational bronchoscopies, Zoll catheters, central lines, and emergent intubations
- Collaborate with APRNs/PAs, Internal Medicine residents, and utilize AI technology for patient care
- Provide critical care services under a newly secured hospital contract

About the Location
HCA Florida Northside Hospital is a 288-bed facility offering a full range of services, including comprehensive and interventional stroke care, cardiac care, orthopedic and spine treatment, a 24/7 ER, and general surgery.
