Pulmonary Certified Medical Assistant
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and prepare them for exams and procedures, ensuring a warm and professional environment.
- Accurately record patient information, medical histories, and vital signs in electronic health records (EHR).
- Absorb and process specimens for laboratory analysis as needed.
- Provide patients with educational information regarding procedures, treatments, and preventative care.
- Help manage appointments, follow-up calls, and patient communications efficiently.
- Will be responsible for prior authorization and checking benefit information prior to any procedure.
- We provide patients with detailed information regarding any test results.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Graduate of an accredited school for Medical Assistants, Surgical Technologists, or one year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a physician clinic setting.
- Current BLS certification upon hire and maintained current.
- Current medical assistant credential from a nationally recognized Medical Assistant Credentialing organization required.

Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm
About the Role
We are seeking a Pulmonary Certified Medical Assistant, also referred to as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
Requirements
You must be a Certified Medical Assistant from the National Healthcare Association or other nationally recognized organization to move forward in this position. We do offer programs to help you get your Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
