Pulm/CC/ILD & Transplant Physician - BC/BE - INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center
About the role
The position is a full-time, BC/BE pulmonologist/critical care physician leader to start and grow an accredited Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) program at INTEGRIS Health Advanced Cardiopulmonary Care Program.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly evaluates and manages each patient appropriately and documents information completely by use of written notes or dictation on a timely basis
- Identifies relevant medical issues accurately and uses appropriate procedures and testing
- Completes and maintains problem list, medication list, disease management forms, preventative maintenance flow sheets and other medical record forms
- Participates in the quality improvement and medical management plans as directed by the Medical Operating Committee
- Provides direction to staff members for an efficient and smooth running team
- Ensures fiscal viability of the practice
- Complies with policies and procedures if applicable
- The Physician is responsible for patients. This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements.
Requirements
Oklahoma MD or DO license
BC/BE pulmonology/critical care board certification
Qualifications
Experience in ILD management preferred
Strong leadership skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of electronic medical records systems
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Experience with bronchoscopy and related procedures
Experience with ECMO, advanced heart failure, and solid organ transplantation

Schedule
Shifts are 7-day blocks, 6-8 weeks per year
