About the role

INTEGRIS Children’s Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric General Surgeon to join an established pediatric medical team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients across various specialties.
• Collaborate with Pediatric Anesthesiologists, Pediatric Intensivists, Neonatologists, and Pediatric Hospitalists.
• Offer support services such as pediatric social worker, pastoral care, home health, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, child life specialist, and a pediatric pharmacist specializing in pain management.
• Work within a 26-bed general medical center and surgical unit, a 40-bed level III NICU, and a 10-bed PICU.

Requirements

• Oklahoma MD or DO license.
• BC/BE Pediatric Surgery certification.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing comprehensive care to pediatric patients.
• Strong collaboration skills with other healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of and ability to provide support services for pediatric patients.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Proficiency in managing pediatric patients' pain.
