Job Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain show assets, including photos, clips, loglines, biographies, and headshots.
- Draft publicity materials such as press releases, media alerts, and other communications documents.
- Cook up travel arrangements, itineraries, and logistics for talent appearances and press activities.
- Arrange glam services and other support for talent participating in publicity events.
- Track budgets, process invoices, and assist with financial reporting related to publicity campaigns.
- Support the planning and execution of press events, including junkets, premieres, festivals, awards shows, photo shoots, press trips, Comic-Con, Upfronts, TCA events, and other media opportunities.
- Aid in talent and media relations efforts before, during, and after events.
- Maintain department calendars and track ongoing publicity activities and campaign milestones.
- Organize and coordinate press mailings and promotional materials.
- Update and maintain media contact databases, editorial calendars, and distribution lists.
- Monitor media coverage and compile campaign reporting and press coverage summaries.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorms, and cross-functional collaboration efforts.
Must Have Skills / Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in entertainment publicity, public relations, communications, or a related field.
- Understanding of entertainment media, publicity campaigns, social media trends, and the entertainment industry landscape.
- Experience supporting media events, talent appearances, or publicity initiatives preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with executives, talent, media contacts, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed to support events and publicity activities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communications tools is a plus.
