About the role
Responsible for supervising Public Works full-time, part-time, and seasonal utilities maintenance personnel, and volunteers. Assists the Public Works Superintendent - Utilities in directing, planning and coordinating the administration of a comprehensive public works operation that will ensure the safe, economical and efficient operation of the City’s Utilities Division.
Responsibilities
- Supervise Public Works full-time, part-time, and seasonal utilities maintenance personnel, and volunteers.
- Assist the Public Works Superintendent - Utilities in directing, planning and coordinating the administration of a comprehensive public works operation.
- Assist with employee coaching, performance evaluations, and discipline.
- Assist with budget preparation.
- Available for emergencies such as water breaks, SCADA alarms, snow and ice control, etc.
