Public Works Manager
General Statement of Duties
Performs supervisory, management, and administrative work in the Public Works Department including the facilities maintenance, fleet maintenance, street maintenance, and storm water divisions; prioritizes, plans, and directs the department’s operations and staff; coordinates with City Engineer on projects and various aspects of divisions maintenance; performs related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or comparable certification in field related to infrastructure construction, business administration, engineering, or project management
- Five years of professional experience in public sector public works including streets and infrastructure maintenance at a management level
- Five years of supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications
- American Public Works Association (APWA) Certification
- Experience working for a growing city or county
- A valid Class A commercial driver’s license
