About the role
The City of Plano’s Public Works Department seeks experienced Public Works Maintenance Workers to join the Utility Operations team. These roles are crucial for maintaining and repairing the city's water distribution and wastewater collection systems.
Responsibilities
- Prepare job sites and operate tools and equipment
- Perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure effective operation of essential water and sewer systems

Qualifications

- Valid Texas driver’s license

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Good communication and problem-solving skills

Hourly range: $20.742140 - $29.038996

Choose from a four-day, 10-hour workweek (6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) or a traditional five-day, 8-hour schedule (6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.).
