Responsibilities
- Manage cases and investigations related to law enforcement misconduct including, but not limited to, working with law enforcement officers from various agencies and responding to scenes for police-involved shootings or other incidents
- Review relevant evidence related to cases and investigations
- Present evidence and witnesses to a grand jury
- Prepare and prosecute appropriate cases for trial, in the District and Circuit Courts for Baltimore City
- Draft internal memorandums summarizing investigations, using relevant case law, and present recommendations for declination or prosecution, based on your analysis
- All other related duties, as assigned.
Requirements
- Must possess a juris doctor degree and must be licensed to practice in Maryland or eligible and prepared for admission to the Maryland bar, upon hiring
- Candidates are required to have court and jury trial experience, with a preference for felony trial experience
- Candidates must have the ability to perform duties in a high-volume environment while adhering to deadlines

Pay
$81,097+ commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time position. There is a current virtual option to work-from-home, one day per week.
