Public Speaking/Speech Adjunct Faculty
About the role
Tallahassee State College is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member in the Communications and Humanities Division. The position involves providing instruction, service, and support of college policies and procedures, along with opportunities for professional development.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction in Speech or Communications courses.
- Support and adhere to college policies and procedures.
- Participate in professional development activities.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in Speech or Communications, or a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Speech or Communications.
- Experience teaching in an academic environment.
- Ability to teach in-person, on-campus courses during Monday through Friday, morning and early afternoon time blocks.
- Willingness to support a diverse student population.

Pay
The pay for this position is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The schedule for this position includes in-person, on-campus courses taught on a variation of days (Monday through Friday) on the Main Campus in Tallahassee, Florida. The time blocks are during the morning and early afternoon. Some midday courses may be available.
