About the role

We're a global marketplace that connects tutors with hundreds of thousands of learners across the globe. Our goal is to unlock human potential through learning - and we're looking for dedicated, enthusiastic, and passionate public speaking coaches from the US to help students build confidence and communicate with impact.

Responsibilities

• Teach public speaking online to students across the globe
• Teach students your way: follow your own teaching philosophy, set your own schedule and price, and work from anywhere

Requirements

• No teaching degree required - just real public speaking or communications experience and a passion for teaching
• Experience teaching one-to-one classes (preferably online)
• High-speed internet connection
• Cheerful, patient, and responsible attitude towards teaching

Qualifications

• A short description of yourself and your strengths as a tutor
• Your best headshot
• A short video introduction to help students get to know you (recorded on Preply when applying)
• A digital copy of your certifications and/or diploma (optional)
• Your schedule and availability

Pay

Preply pays tutors based on their performance and the number of students they have enrolled. Payment is made directly to the tutor's account on the Preply app.

Schedule

Our tutors have flexibility in their schedules, allowing them to teach at times that work best for them. We offer a variety of time slots throughout the day and night to accommodate different time zones and preferences.
