Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Makes and installs traffic signs
- Maintains inventory of parts and sign material and marking materials
- Applies pavement marking materials
- Affords assistance during construction projects in implementing traffic detours
- Affords assistance during special events such as Apple Blossom with traffic control
- Responds to urgent traffic related calls whenever necessary
- Affords assistance with maintaining traffic signals
- Performs snow removal operations, i.e., chemical spreading, plowing, shoveling, scraping, etc.
Requirements
- Education and/or Experience: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to completion of the ninth-grade
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Possession of a valid driver's license
