About the Role

This position plays an essential role in maintaining the functionality and efficiency of a city’s wastewater management system and is tasked with the inspection, maintenance and repair of sewer lines and systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspection, maintenance and repair of sewer lines and systems
• Reporting directly to the Public Works Superintendent
• Ensuring the functionality and efficiency of the city’s wastewater management system

Requirements

• Classified, Safety-Sensitive position
• Classified Non-Exempt status

Qualifications

• Experience in sewer line and system maintenance
• Knowledge of city infrastructure and operations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in computer software used for maintenance tasks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay

• $55,500 to $63,300 annually
