About the Role

Under general DPS supervision, responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring the security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, students, visitors, and the premises. Respond to emergencies, provide initial assistance, and coordinate with law enforcement, fire, or medical personnel as needed to maintain safety and protect ACD. Reports to the District Department of Public Safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Clear criminal background
• Valid driver license
• Must be insurable through the organization’s insurers
• Motor Vehicle Report required in addition to background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months of job-related experience
• Completion of CPR, First Aid, and AED training within the first year of employment
• Licensed as a peace officer by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) within the first year of employment
