About the Role

Under general DPS supervision, responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring the security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, students, visitors, and the premises. Respond to emergencies, provide initial assistance, and coordinate with law enforcement, fire, or medical personnel as needed to maintain safety and protect ACD. Reports to the District Department of Public Safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Clear criminal background.
• Valid driver license and must be insurable through the organization’s insurers.
• Motor Vehicle Report is required in addition to background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Six months of job-related experience.
  • Complete CPR, First Aid, and AED training within the first year of employment.
  • Preferred licensed as a peace officer by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) within the first year of employment.
