Job Summary and Description
Under general DPS supervision, responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, students, visitors, and the premises. Respond to emergencies, provide initial assistance, and coordinate with law enforcement, fire, or medical personnel as needed to maintain safety and protect ACD.
Reports to the District Department of Public Safety.

Qualifications
- Minimum Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- A clear criminal background is required.
- Preferred Education and Experience:
- Six months of job-related experience is preferred.
- Complete the CPR, First Aid & AED training within the first year of employment is preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications:
- A valid driver license is required.
- The individual must be insurable through the organization’s insurers.
- A licensed as a peace officer by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) within the first year of employment is preferred.
- Motor Vehicle Report is required in addition to background check and drug screen.
