Public Sector Banking Relationship Manager
Maintains and grows existing and new Public Sector deposit and lending relationships
Maintains and grows existing and new Public Sector deposit and lending relationships while providing superior customer service.
Negotiates and structures new and renewed public finance loans
Negotiates and structures new and renewed public finance loans; prepares and documents current applications; reviews and analyzes financial data and other relevant information to determine each customer’s eligibility for credit.
Public Finance underwriting skills
Includes accounting, financial statement, and cash flow analysis experience.
Working knowledge with structuring credit products for the public sector
Knowledge of a variety of Bank services, products, and lending requirements.
Effective customer service methods and practices
Effective customer service methods and practices.
Commercial lending policies, procedures, practices and documentation knowledge
Proficient knowledge of commercial lending policies, procedures, practices and documentation.
Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) support
Supports the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) through business development efforts.
Representing the Bank in community organizations
Represents the Bank in community organizations and activities to enhance the Bank’s image and maintain and enhance a referral network with Centers of Influence (COI’s) for business development opportunities.
Compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulations
Ensures compliance with all Federal, State and Bank policies, procedures, and regulations.
Education and Experience
- Five years or more experience in sourcing and managing public funds and/or financial services in public finance with proven track record of exceeding performance in developing and maintaining business in the public sector.
- Bachelor's Degree from accredited college in accounting, business, or finance or equivalent experience.
Skills
- Excellent sales skills with ability to meet or exceed established loan and deposit sales goals within expected timelines.
- Public Finance underwriting skills, including accounting, financial statement, and cash flow analysis experience.
- Working knowledge with structuring credit products for the public sector.
