About the role
Spurwink clinicians provide individual and family therapy in a school setting. Home and community-based sessions are also offered as needed. This position is year-round and is split between Lewiston Middle and Lewiston High schools. Spurwink prioritizes quality supervision for clinicians, using a blend of individual and group formats to meet licensing requirements and professional development needs. Access to training in evidence-based treatment modalities is part of the Spurwink experience. A generous allowance is provided for therapy supplies, external trainings, and license reimbursement.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and provide individual and family therapy.
- Provide updates on treatment progress for managed care entries, clinical documentation, and electronic record keeping.
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and strong networking skills.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling.
- Current Maine Licensure (LMSW-cc, LCSW, LCPC-c, or LCPC).
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Maintain a current driver's license and a clean driving record as outlined in Spurwink's Driving policy.
