Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they enter screening
- Provide friendly guest assistance while maintaining safe, organized, and efficient guest flow at entry points, attractions, and park midways
- Support vehicle and pedestrian flow by providing directions, guidance, and assistance to guests and team members as needed
- Screen guests and personal belongings using walk‑through metal detectors, X‑ray equipment, and other approved screening technology in accordance with established procedures
- Assist with park closure activities
- Perform other duties as necessary to support the park
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous security‑related experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Safety conscious, mature, reliable, and dependable
- Outgoing and friendly demeanor
- Effective communication skills (read, write, and speak)
- Flexible/rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays during Mardi Gras
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Reports to Public Safety Department Leadership.
