Public Safety Sales Representative

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans and programs to target potential customers in coordination with distributors as appropriate
  • Develop portfolio plans to maximize revenue and customer base in critical product lines
  • Discover, understand, and communicate customer and market dynamics to enable management understanding of customer/user needs
  • Develop business case and portfolio plans for the next generation of current and new products
  • Identify issues from the field and develop sources of competitive intelligence to facilitate sales and product development
  • Responsible for tactical implementation of key market research programs, including voice of customer analysis, market share measurements, and SWOT analysis
  • Develop materials to present the value proposition for domestic and international individual markets
  • Develop and cultivate professional relationships with key product suppliers to enhance product promotion
  • Deliver professional, consistent, and customer-oriented service and maintain favorable customer relationships with key decision-makers and distributors in workplace safety
  • Solicit and maintain favorable contacts and close sales negotiations with appropriate customers and agencies

Supplemental Responsibilities

  • Completes any tasks and/or projects assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Will also consider Business, Life Science or similar degree.
  • Certification as a Nationally Registered Paramedic desired, with additional certification as a Firefighter II, TP-C, CCEMTP highly desired.
  • Current relevant work experience as a NREMTP is required with current critical care work experience is highly desired.

  • Time and Availability Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours each week from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. or some variation thereof.
  • Occasional evening and weekend and holiday work will be required as job duties demand.
  • Travel Able to travel up to 70%.
