About the role
We are seeking a Public Safety Officer, also known as a Hospital Security Officer or Healthcare Security Officer.
Responsibilities
- Perform a range of security duties including electronic surveillance and routine manual patrols to ensure the safety of the facility.
- Coordinate responses to incidents involving patients, staff, and visitors while enforcing policies and procedures fairly and consistently.
- Collaborate with the Environment of Care Committee to support a multidisciplinary approach to safety and security at our hospital.
Requirements
- Shift’s Available: Days, Employment Type: Full-Time, Hours: 5:30am - 6:00pm (Saturday, Sunday) and 5:30am - 2:00pm (Monday, Tuesday)
- Location: St Mary's Medical Center - Blue Springs, MO
Qualifications
- State Guard Certification
- Required: State Driver’s license upon hire
- Current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report
