Essential Functions
- Partners with Health Center staff to alleviate potential security threats.
- Provides emergency response to a variety of situations.
- Acts in the capacity of a safety escort to personnel, patients and visitor's requesting.
- Maintains facility safety by monitoring for unsafe conditions and improperly secured areas/property.
- Patrols buildings and parking lots on a routine basis.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High School Diploma/GED as applicable, higher education as applicable.
- Experience: Must have 1-3 years of related experience in security. Experience in security in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Good oral and verbal communication skills, good organizational and self-motivational skills.
- Transportation Requirement: Must have reliable transportation, must be able to travel up 20% of the time.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Current BLS/CPR Certification as applicable.
- Armed or Unarmed Security License through St. Louis County Private Security Division on the first day of employment with CareSTL Health.
- Completed all training courses required to maintain a valid Armed Security License.
Additional Information
Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 11 paid holidays per year. Full benefits package. Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
