Public Safety Mental Health and Wellness Officer - Full Time - 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Provide security support and enforcement of hospital rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with all divisions of the hospital, particularly the Mental Health and Wellness Center.
• Comply with an effective hospital-wide program for surveillance, prevention, and control of infection.
• Comply with a safety management program to ensure a safe physical environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Mental Health and Wellness or facility security experience
• Crisis Intervention experience and/or C.I.T. certification
• Mental First Aid or similar certification/licensure
• Valid Driver's license with hospital insurance policy

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 21 years old
• Valid Ohio driver’s license
• Eligible for coverage under the hospital’s insurance policy
