Public Relations Manager - Tavily

About the role

The organization operates in the AI cloud infrastructure and AI agent search engine sectors. It addresses challenges related to the complexity and cost of building AI and machine learning infrastructure by developing a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports data and model training through to production deployment. The organization connects large language models to trustworthy web content, enabling intelligent and informed AI agents used by startups and enterprises for various applications such as sales assistants and research copilots. It has a global footprint with research and development centers across multiple regions. The Public Relations Manager - Tavily will lead the organization’s efforts to build and protect its brand reputation through media relations, analyst engagement, and strategic communications. This role is critical in managing communications with press and external partners, enhancing visibility, and shaping public perception. The position contributes to the organization''s impact by ensuring clear and consistent messaging that supports business growth and industry influence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a media relations strategy and network of journalists, editors, and industry analysts
• Write and distribute press releases, articles, and executive thought leadership content
• Manage inbound media inquiries, coordinate interviews, and prepare company spokespeople
• Develop and execute award submissions and identify speaking opportunities
• Monitor brand mentions and manage reputation across earned media channels
• Collaborate with Product Marketing on launch-related PR and with leadership on executive visibility

Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of experience in public relations, communications, or media relations (agency or in-house)
• Established relationships with technology and business press preferred
• Strong writing skills for press materials and long-form content
• Experience with analyst relations (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, G2) is a strong plus
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage stakeholders effectively

Pay

Base compensation range: $150,000 to $187,500 USDActual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, level, and location
