Public Relations Internship (Winter/Spring 2027)

About the role

Brilliant Agency, a respected and rapidly growing agency specializing in family-oriented brands, is seeking a REMOTE Public Relations Intern to join their dynamic team. The internship runs from January 11 to May or June 2027.

What We Do

Brighton is a fully remote agency with over 25 team members dedicated to consumer lifestyle brands, including baby and maternity, toys and games, tech, housewares, and food. The Dream Team Member will be integrated into the team to understand PR operations and build a strong career foundation.

Potential Responsibilities

• Learn how to identify media/influencer targets and assist in building lists
• Help monitor and report media, influencer, and social coverage on behalf of clients
• Contribute creative ideas to team brainstorming sessions for client campaigns, activations, and events
• Improve writing skills by drafting press materials and research material
• Maintain and update critical databases/resources/reporting & sampling
• Perform data entry and varied research for projects like award submissions, event recommendations, and event planning
• Support the management of influencer campaigns on behalf of clients
• Identify relevant influencers for promoting clients' products and services
• Draft initial outreach emails to potential influencers to pitch collaboration ideas and negotiate terms
• Provide general support to the account team as needed
• Utilize technology platforms such as Google Drive, AirTable, LinkedIn, and more for research, media and influencer relations, social media, content creation, and more

Requirements

• You must be a rising sophomore, junior, or senior
• You must have previous office internship experience in the marketing space
• Your GPA must be 3.0 or above
• You must have excellent writing skills
• You must be socially media savvy
• You must have strong organizational abilities
• You must have a professional demeanor and a drive to succeed
• You must be eager to learn and willing to ask questions
• You must have a resourceful attitude and keen attention to detail

• Brilliant will reimburse you $250 each month for using your personal cell phone, computer, and home internet
