About the Role

A leading global luxury brand is seeking a polished, detail-oriented Public Relations Coordinator to join its team on a long-term temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career PR professional looking to gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced, highly regarded luxury organization. The ideal candidate will have some previous public relations or communications experience, including internships, along with experience working in a professional corporate environment. The PR Coordinator will support the team across media relations, product samples, press materials, reporting, research and day-to-day PR operations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate product sample loans to media contacts and influencers, including tracking inventory, shipping and returns.
  • Assist with writing and editing press releases, media alerts and other PR materials supporting product launches, events and brand initiatives.
  • Maintain and update media contacts, media lists and distribution lists.
  • Monitor media coverage and compile press clippings for reporting and analysis.
  • Support PR initiatives involving media, influencers, events and product launches.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activity and emerging media opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal Marketing, Sales, Product and Digital teams on brand initiatives and campaigns.
  • Assist with presentations, reports and materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars and organizing files and documents.
  • Manage multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy, professionalism and attention to detail.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related field.
  • Hands-on PR, communications or media relations experience. Internships count.
  • Exposure to media lists, press materials, media monitoring, sample coordination, influencer outreach or PR events is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a professional or corporate office environment, including through internships, temporary assignments or entry-level roles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.

Pay

$20 - $22/Hour. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
