Key Responsibilities
- PR Coordination: Schedule and track PRs in MuckRack, assist with content creation (including blogs), and manage PR approvals.
- Media Relations: Coordinate media interviews and liaise between clients and media outlets.
- Administrative Support: Manage internal PR processes, including sending PRs for review and following up on approvals.
- Client Facing: Conduct client calls/Zoom/Teams meetings, provide PR training, and address client questions and requests.
- PR Monitoring: Monitor key platforms (Agorapulse, Facebook/Meta, Yelp, Glassdoor, Google, Caring, A Place for Mom, etc.) and respond to client reviews and requests.
- Social Media: Write and manage content, engagement, and reputation across Facebook, YouTube, Google, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Indeed, Glassdoor, and LinkedIn.
Requirements
- Background in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with Trello, Asana, Slack, and MuckRack is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Some evening and weekend work required, from time to time.
