About the role

This position is being filled under the Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense using hiring authority in 5 USC 9905. Veterans Preference: Veterans preference does not apply under this Direct-Hire Authority (DHA).

Responsibilities

• Independently performs a full range of assignments under close direction.
• Plans, advises, consults, develops and implements programs, work actions, studies and projects that solve highly complex diverse property problems.
• Provides guidance to contractors and Government commands on property regulations.
• Reviews and evaluates contractor property management procedures for currency and adequacy.
• Schedules, visits, and performs property management system analysis required by regulation.
