Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Availability to complete all phases of the Special Agent applicant process
  • Completion of the Physical Task Assessment (PTA)
  • Completion of the Proctored Testing, including the Writing Assessment
  • Basic Qualification Review
  • Structured Interview

Qualifications

  • Minimum qualification and eligibility requirements of this position
  • May be considered for an abbreviated hiring process if previously trained through another federal law enforcement agency

  • Spanish language proficiency may be assessed and required for some positions
  • Attend and complete a 16-week residential training program for those without previous federal law enforcement training
  • Special Agent Transition Program for current or former 1811 applicants with FLETC/CITP transcripts
