Responsibilities

Requirements
- Availability to complete all phases of the Special Agent applicant process
- Completion of the Physical Task Assessment (PTA)
- Completion of the Proctored Testing, including the Writing Assessment
- Basic Qualification Review
- Structured Interview
Qualifications
- Minimum qualification and eligibility requirements of this position
- May be considered for an abbreviated hiring process if previously trained through another federal law enforcement agency
Benefits
- Priority for positions in border locations
- Spanish language proficiency may be assessed and may be required to complete a language assessment
- Attend and complete a 16-week residential training program if not previously trained through another federal law enforcement agency
- Special Agent Transition Program for current or former 1811 applicants who have successfully completed a Federal Criminal Investigation training program through another federal law enforcement agency
