About the role
We are speaking with attorneys and legal professionals for select opportunities involving public law, transportation, infrastructure, municipal defense, regulatory matters, litigation strategy, administrative law, and sophisticated civil litigation involving government entities and public-sector projects. These roles are grouped because the same candidate audience could reasonably match more than one opening in this tile.
Responsibilities
- 1+ years transactional, administrative law, or litigation experience, or recently-completed judicial clerkship; strong legal writing and research; transportation, infrastructure, airports, public-sector regulatory, contracts, operating agreements, pleadings, and administrative litigation work.
- 2-3 years litigation with public law focus; support partners/senior attorneys across civil litigation, case assessment, discovery, motion practice, mediation, trial prep, legal research, memoranda, deadlines, filings, client interviews, witness prep, depositions, and mediations.
- 7+ years sophisticated civil litigation; state/federal law-and-motion including dispositive motions; demurrers, MSJ/MSA, anti-SLAPP, writ proceedings; depositions; evidence strategy; expert work-up; witness interviews; trial preparation; public entity litigation, constitutional claims, takings, 1983, First Amendment, due process, equal protection.
Requirements
- Absolutely must be a licensed attorney or eligible in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Must have litigation, administrative law, regulatory, transportation, infrastructure, or public-sector experience.
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills are essential.
- Comfortable working with government agencies, transportation authorities, or public-sector clients is required.
- An interest in public law, infrastructure, or municipal matters is necessary.
