Responsibilities

  • Aid in the day-to-day operations of assigned projects.
  • Create effective public outreach strategies and plans for high-profile transportation projects.
  • Maintain and respond to public inquiries through project hotlines and email accounts.
  • Organize and execute events such as open houses, workshops, public hearings, neighborhood meetings, ground breakings, ribbon cuttings, conferences, one-on-one meetings, and other public events.
  • Create public outreach materials including postcards, fliers, emails, and announcements.
  • Support and monitor the scheduling and production of communications materials to meet internal and external client requests.
  • Involvement in business development activities and engagement with key clients.

Qualifications

  • In the process of receiving a degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Communication Studies, Business Administration, or another related major.
