Public Involvement Intern

Responsibilities

  • Aid with daily project operations.
  • Create effective public outreach strategies and plans for high-profile transportation projects.
  • Maintain and address public inquiries through project hotlines and email accounts.
  • Organize and execute various public events such as open houses, workshops, public hearings, neighborhood meetings, ground breakings, ribbon cuttings, workshops, conferences, one-on-one meetings, and others.
  • Create public outreach materials including postcards, fliers, emails, and announcements.
  • Schedule and produce communications materials to meet internal and external client requests.
  • Involvement in business development activities and engagement with key clients.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Communication Studies, Business Administration, or another relevant major leading to a degree (Bachelors or Masters).
