About the role
Southeastern Museums Conference seeks a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have a passion for museums and the arts, excellent communication skills, and a strong background in marketing and event planning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns for regional museum events and conferences
- Manage social media accounts for the organization
- Coordinate with vendors and partners to ensure successful event execution
- Collaborate with the development team to create and manage donor communications
- Assist with the planning and execution of fundraising events
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in marketing or event planning
- Experience with event coordination and management
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
