About the role
The role is responsible for managing financial transactions and ensuring compliance with state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve invoices and payments for accuracy and compliance with state policies.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports and records for analysis and reporting purposes.
- Oversee the procurement process to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to budget constraints.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize service delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in financial management or accounting.
- Knowledge of state financial regulations and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Access.
