About the role
The Immunization Program Manager position is a grant-funded role ending June 2027. Applications will be reviewed starting July 10, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes program needs and assigns/delegates personnel resources;
- Conducts quality improvement analysis and collaborates with other Nurse Managers;
- Administers general nursing care and ensures quality/safety of service, including immunizations/vaccines/labs;
- Develops and implements specialized public health nursing programs;
- Collects data, compiles statistical information, and prepares records and reports;
- Reviews risk management issues and collaborates on mitigation measures;
- Conducts performance management reviews for staff;
- Creates, reviews, and revises clinic policies and procedures;
- Acts as a lead in incident command and participates in emergency preparedness planning.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, public health, business, or public administration, or related field AND two years of experience in a clinical supervising role;
- Associate’s degree in nursing AND four years of experience in a clinical supervising role;
- A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Arizona.
Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years experience managing federal/state grants;
- Minimum two (2) years experience with immunizations;
- Minimum two (2) years experience with community-based work, communicable disease, or public health;
- Minimum two (2) years experience working with underserved or minority populations;
- Minimum two (2) years experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Teams.
