Responsibilities

Under general supervision, is responsible for surveys and investigations in health care facilities for compliance with Federal regulations and State rules; and performs related work as required.

Responsibilities include:

• Gathering and analyzing data from healthcare providers and facilities to assess compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Reviewing medical records, conducting surveys, observations, and interviews.
• Interpreting legal standards to identify non-compliance.
• Documenting findings according to strict protocols.
• Cooking team activities during inspections.
• Communicating results to various stakeholders, while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements

This role involves gathering and analyzing data from healthcare providers and facilities to assess compliance with state and federal regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in nursing and experience equivalent to three (3) years of full-time increasingly responsible professional nursing work.
• A valid registered nurse license in good-standing is required, OR
• Completion of an approved Practical Nursing program and passing score on the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN) and (5) five years of full-time experience in hospitals, long term care facilities, ESRD, skilled nursing facility experience, OR
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work and clinical experience in a hospital and/or long-term care facility, with experience in discharge planning, admissions, interdisciplinary care coordination, etc, OR
• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition or related field and clinical experience in a hospital and/or long-term care facility, with experience in discharge planning, admissions, interdisciplinary care coordination, etc

Pay

Minimum Annual Salary: $61,200.00
