About the role
Provides public health nursing services to individuals, families, and population groups. Duties include communicable disease follow-up, immunizations, oral health services, and maternal and child health. Nursing activities include analysis of health data, vaccinations, health screening and follow-up, health education and advocacy, coalition building, and collaborating with community partners to promote population health. The public health nurse may assist in providing public health services during emergencies.

Requirements
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a good driving record
Qualifications
- One to two years’ experience in public health nursing preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing school preferred
Pay
Starting wage of $31.92 to $35.57 per hour based on experience.
