Public Construction Project Manager - Brooklyn, NY

About the role

Our client is currently a leading General Contractor/Developer in the New York City Building and Construction industry. They have been an established for for 30+ years focusing on Public city and state projects throughout New York City. The client has a fast paced work environment with a very strong work cultural allowing for flexibility and competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain effective management, planning, and cost control systems in cooperation with the project team
• Assist with pre-construction activities relevant to assigned construction project
• Maintain and manage all job site activities
• Be the Superintendent on a NYC public works projects for agencies like the OGS, DCAS, DASNY, NYC H+H
• Large scale elevator replacement project in occupied building
• 3+ year project

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience
• NYC Public project experience $20 Million plus
• Experience working on Building and Construction projects for agencies: DCAS, OGS, DDC, etc.
• Experience handling 100% of projects Local to New York, NY
• Must have experience building in New York City

Qualifications

• Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent degree
• DOB license
• SST 62 hr certification
• OSHA certification
