About the role
The Project Manager - Public Works Construction will oversee and manage public works construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of public works construction projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth project operations.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare and present project updates, reports, and documentation as required.
- Oversee project budgets and ensure financial targets are met.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction.
Requirements
- Experience managing public works building and construction projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to coordinate multiple aspects of a project.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and team members.
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements in the construction industry.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
