About the role

The Project Manager - Public Works Construction will oversee and manage public works construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of public works construction projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth project operations.
• Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare and present project updates, reports, and documentation as required.
• Oversee project budgets and ensure financial targets are met.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements

• Experience managing public works building and construction projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills to coordinate multiple aspects of a project.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and team members.
• Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements in the construction industry.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
