Public Assistance Casework

Duties

• Talk with community members by phone, face-to-face, and through our shared services call center
• Gather information and determine eligibility using the Ohio Benefits system
• Prepare notices, process forms, and help people understand their rights and responsibilities
• Connect individuals with additional community resources when needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human services, business, accounting, or a related field
• One (1) year of experience working with the public is preferred
• Strong computer skills are important

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• An associate degree in human services, business, accounting, or a related field
• One (1) year of experience working with the public

Pay

$20.93 - $28.43 per hour (placement in pay range is dependent on experience and education)

Schedule

Full-Time (40 hours per week), Monday through Friday
