The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of all public spaces throughout the property to ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests and team members. Primary Job Duties Clean and maintain lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other public areas. Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust assigned areas regularly. Restock restroom supplies and amenities as needed. Remove trash and maintain clean and organized public spaces. Respond promptly to guest and team member requests related to cleanliness. Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate department. Follow company safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards. Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the manager. Furthermore, tasks and responsibilities may be added or revised based on the volume of business and the need for the work to be completed at the present time. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Strong organizational and housekeeping skills are important. Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to provide courteous service to guests and team members. Physical Demands Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts. Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 30 lbs. occasionally. Frequent bending, reaching, and moving cleaning equipment. Ability to work in various areas of the property, including stairs and hallways.
